I went on an anger-shopping spree and bought a bunch of CDs, like the new Loretta Lynn, and the new Morrissey, and was pleasantly surprised. Both highly recommended.

Then some visiting friends introduced me to HATE BEAK!! Black metal with an animal edge - their lead singer is a parrot.

Seriously. A parrot. Hate Beak. Genius.

Something I haven't heard yet is The Spine - the new TMBG album. Let me know if you've heard it. Also you can check them out live, touring the country with Corn Mo. It's not the show you want to miss.

But you don't read KP for my musical opinions, so you do what you want. Really.
